Lost and Found

Last week when shopping at the grocery store, Lulu lost Ellie.

Then I lost it.

Lulu loves Ellie.
She takes Ellie everywhere and won't sleep without her.

I called my husband at work, and he said he'd go to the store and look for Ellie on his way home. In the meantime, I called my sister. My sister told my favorite nephew.

My favorite nephew then offered his most favorite stuffed animal (also an elephant) to Lulu.

How sweet is that?

Toad picked up Lulu on his way to the store.
Thus began the Ellie Search and Recovery Mission.

(You can tell I have a sense of humor about it now; last Thursday, I couldn't joke.)

They found Ellie. This is how Lulu greeted Ellie when they were reunited.


Here they are five minutes later on the way home from the store.

Ellie is now on house arrest.
