my friend died today
i will miss her terribly
especially her laugh
it was contagious
she was so brave
brave and funny
she was only 35
i hate cancer

Oh, Maureen, I am so sorry - cancer SUCKS and just seems ever more prevalent these days...35 is much too young. Snuggle your kiddos today and relax, I am thining of you!

Maureen, I'm so sorry. I lost one of my best friends this year...only 40 with 3 little kids. She had a little heart condition...nothing she was supposed to just DIE from in one second while walking through the parking lot to watch a track meet. I was devastated, just like you are. It will be a hard year. I miss her SO much and really really struggle with it all. It's so unfair isn't it? I find myself wanting to call her everyday and then remembering. I can only imagine what her husband and children are going through.
