My little guy spent time with one of his uncles during our recent vacation. My three brothers are fabulous uncles. They are so giving of their time and attention, and my son eats it up.
During our trip, his uncle taught him how to style his hair.
He loved it. He couldn't wait to check himself out in the mirror. His uncle played with him constantly.
He also shared his girlfriend with his nephew. She was very generous with her time and energy.
Oh, how my little guy loves his uncles. He follows them around constantly. He mimics their every move. He wants to wear what they wear. He wants to talk the way they talk. He eats what they eat.
He even got to spend time with one of my uncles, and time with his great-uncle was no exception to my little guy's behavior. He took in every comment and every action.
This uncle even let him drive his boat. My little guy could not have been happier.
My little guy is fortunate. His father is more of a father than I could have hoped him to be. The fact that we have a team of uncles (and great-uncles) as well as two grandfathers who are role models who provide him with love and adoration and guidance and fun, well, that's just icing on the cake.
He is blessed. We are blessed. I am most grateful for this family.

That truly is a blessing - for a boy to have so many great male role models is awesome!

Let's hear it for the boys! And for hair gel. ;-)
I agree with the first commenter. Your son is blessed to be surrounded by so many caring males that can teach him how to be a man.
