Lulu attended her preschool orientation today. She's going to go to school one morning a week. Having spent the only two years of her life watching her brother attend preschool, she was ready for what she thought was an official drop-off today.
She made a bee-line for the table and chairs. See, that's what her brother's class did last year. At drop-off, the students found their chairs and sat. Mind you, the other children were on the rug playing with boxes of toys. Not Lulu. She found a chair. And she sat.
And she waited. Doesn't she look miserable? Believe me. She wasn't. She was doing what she thought she was supposed to do. I told her she could play, and she did. But her entry into her first school experience about cracked me up. Her brother and I just chuckled.
Here she is waving to her friends in the hallway. Yes, she even greeted the painted pictures. She is so ready for school. She is going to love it. I've said it before; I'll say it again. This child is all mine.

How precious!! What a darling little student she's gonna be!! xoxo
So sweet! And I love her outfit!
If that's not precious, I'll hush my mouth. Every teacher's DREAM to have a student, particularly a little bitty one, come in and SIT!!!
