wiggly mania

The kids the morning of the Wiggles Show - November 2010

Last year, we took the kids to see the Wiggles.  They had so much fun, they talked about it all year.  They told every person they knew about it, including strangers.

As in, "We went to the Wiggles."

Stranger, "Um...okay..."

And last year, our kids were young.  They were one and three.  To me that's pretty young to attend a concert - even a kids concert.  This was at a pretty large venue.  Lulu even had to sit on my lap because the chair kept folding up on her.

Well, looking at the picture of me holding Lulu, I am realizing maybe she remembered the Boardwalk fries.

All year, the kids have asked if the Wiggles were returning.  I told them I would check.  I never did.  The tickets aren't cheap.  Plus, I thought maybe that was a one-time-at-bat type of event.  Well, my kids have great hearing.  So great that they heard the Wiggles were coming to our area on the radio while driving to preschool.  (Do ad agents know how to do their job or what?)

We decided to buy the tickets.

Toot Toot, Chugga, Chugga, Big Red Car - November 2010

The show did not disappoint, and the kids were thrilled.  Lulu danced so much that she fell asleep towards the end of the show.  This time her hand was actually in the bag of popcorn.  Brendan had his eyes on the stage the entire time, and never once asked when it would end.  The show runs for about 90 minutes.  That's a pretty long time for a four-year-old.

As ridiculous as the price of tickets can be, I won't remember that a month from now.  I will only remember how for about a year or two, my kids were Wiggles groupies.

And thanks to this etsy shop, they have the t-shirts to remember it for another year.  Maybe the t-shirts will help strangers figure out who the Wiggles are when my kids tell them about the show.

My middle one used to LOVE the Wiggles! WE had all the videos. I think I still know the songs by heart.

Could this be any cuter?? I love it!! My nephew got his picture with Jeff and he was sooo thrilled. We were just happy he stopped to take the picture. We all would have been heart broken if he walked by and said no.. you are a good mommy xo

So sweet and I love their shirts!

I remember our love affair with the Wiggles. We took my son to a Wiggles concert in November of 2003...he's 9 now and probably wouldn't admit to it now :)
